Are you interested in developing the next generation through a fun and rewarding career in Early years? Then we have the perfect course to start you on your journey.
What will we cover?
You will learn through a combination of classroom and simulated experiences, as well as improving your Maths and English qualifications.
The course will simulate your interest and enable you to understand the skills needed to care for a baby or young child in a professional setting.
You will take part in practical activities, such as cooking and healthy eating for children, using play dough and painting.
You’ll acquire new skills and knowledge including communication with children and adults, safeguarding and health & safety requirements.
Progression Routes and Careers
Progression routes include Level 1 Award/Certificate in Caring for Children & Level 1 Award/Certificate in Introduction to Health, Social Care in Children and Young People's Settings.

There are no formal entry requirements.
Location
This course takes place at High Pavement Learning Centre, Sutton-in-Ashfield.
