Sport - Level 1

Are you interested in working in the sports industry? Do you have a passion for keeping fit and encouraging others to engage in sport? If so, Inspire College have a new and exciting full-time programme at Hucknall Young People's Centre.

What will we cover?

Topics covered include:

  • Taking part in sport
  • Sports coaching
  • Effect of exercise on human body systems
  • Strength and conditioning
  • Health and nutrition

Progression Routes

Upon completion of your course, there is the potential to open up the door to many more avenues. You may wish to move on to further studies, or explore job roles that are now opened up to you including:

  • Fitness instructor
  • Personal trainer
  • Leisure centre assistant
  • Outdoor activities instructor
  • Sports coach.

Some of these roles may require further qualifications - please speak to your tutor about this if you are not sure.

This course takes place at our Hucknall Base at Hucknall Young People's Centre.
