Welcome to Collingham Library!
We are located at 71 High Street which is also home to the local parish council. As a Community Partnership Library, our library team consists of both Inspire staff and local volunteers. If you have a love for reading and may be interested in joining our wonderful team of volunteers here at Collingham Library, just drop in and enquire during our opening hours, or visit the Inspire Community Makers website here.
Everyone is welcome at Collingham Library, and our friendly staff are always available to help with your queries and offer assistance. Although we are a small library there is a wide range of stock to choose from, including the latest releases and plenty of non-fiction to keep you busy!
Our children's library houses a wide range of books including an extensive picture book collection for our younger customers, and plenty of stories, graphic novels, and non-fiction books for older readers to choose from. Every Saturday in the children’s area of the library we hold a drop in Lego Club which runs from 9:30am to 12:30pm where there is lots of Lego for building with. Monday to Saturday year-round you will find a selection of colouring sheets and paper for colouring and drawing, whilst during the half terms and summer holidays we often host a variety of free crafts and activities.
Computers and Wi-Fi are available for free, with our two PCs being bookable in advance or by drop-in. There are chairs for studying, or simply to enjoy reading a book in peace.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
