Do you have an interest in gardening or growing your own? Look no further for an accredited beginners guide with our Sowing and Growing Level 1 qualification where you can develop your knowledge of indoor and outdoor sowing and growing techniques, and the care of transplant seedlings/plants.
Delivered online or from the Oasis Community Centre, Worksop this course is a unit from the Level 1 Award in Exploring Occupational Studies qualification. Intended to be accessible to a wide range of adult learners of all abilities, you can develop a ‘hands-on’ approach to your learning and gain practical skills, knowledge and understanding in this vocational area(s).
The skills, knowledge and understanding gained may also help you prepare for work through real or simulated work situations and contribute to preparing you for working life beyond education.

The course is for adults (19+) who would like to learn about sowing and growing seeds, planting and growing techniques whilst gaining a formal qualification. This may be for personal interest or to progress towards related work.
Upon completion of this course you could progress with Inspire to a range of Level 1 and 2 qualifications. Please ask us for details.
The cost of this course is free/£108.00.
1) FREE - if you earn less than £25,000 gross salary or are on a means-tested benefit.
2) PAYMENT HELP AVAILABLE - if you earn more than £25,000 (annual gross salary) but are on a low-income, we might be able to help pay part or all of your course fees. Email: learning@inspireculture.org.uk for an application form or if you have any questions.
3) CO-FUNDED - if you are on a higher-income, the government will pay approximately half of your course fees.
