Newark Library are delighted to be hosting a dementia friendly screenings of The Greatest Showman.
A bold and original musical that celebrates the birth of show business and the sense of wonder we feel when dreams come to life.
These relaxed screenings are particularly suitable for people living with dementia and memory challenges, their family and friends but anyone is welcome. Please feel free to talk, sing and move during the screening.
Doors will open 20 minutes before the screening and there will be a 20 minute interval. We will be sensitive to the audience when it comes to lighting and volume in the meeting room. A quiet room for anyone needing a brief break from the film will be available and toilets also just outside the meeting room door.
The meeting is on the main floor of the building with level access access.
