Join us for a hands-on DJ workshop designed for complete beginners who want to learn the fundamentals of mixing and using DJ equipment. This session will introduce the basics of beatmatching, track selection and how DJs build a set, with the chance to get behind the decks and try mixing for yourself.
The workshop is led by Nottingham-based DJs DJ Lemoneye and Adrian Rayworth. DJ Lemoneye is known for her vibrant multi-genre sets blending sounds such as Bassline, Grime, Amapiano and Dancehall, while Adrian Rayworth is an experienced DJ, producer and facilitator who has worked extensively with communities across the East Midlands to make music technology and DJing more accessible.
No previous experience is needed - just bring your curiosity and love of music.
For ages: 11-18 (Upto 25 with a disability)
This event is FREE however booking is required.
