Joy Wood will be talking about the history of Harlow Wood orthopaedic hospital near Mansfield, and her time there during her nurse training from 1977 – 1979.
Joy, who is an award-winning author, will also be discussing her novel based at Harlow Wood - Dead Pretty - which imagines a murderer lurking along the pristine hospital corridors and around the cosy nurses’ home.
