Coming to a library near you! Throughout the month of November, we’ll be running FREE creative storyteller workshops at libraries across the county.

With the guidance of professional storyteller, Laura Mabbutt, you’ll have the chance to explore your creativity in a relaxed and welcoming environment. 

There’ll be space for you to share your thoughts and stories and to try different types of storytelling — including character creation, visual storytelling, collaborative and non-traditional storytelling.

No previous storytelling experience is necessary, and this is all about trying something new and having a go.  

Suitable for children 7+ and their families. Children to be accompanied by an adult.

About the storyteller

Laura Mabbutt is a multidisciplinary artist working with a fusion of traditional craft, digital media, and interactive experiences. She has delivered hands-on, creative experiences, including installations and workshops in diverse settings, from galleries and museums to community centers and education settings, working with a diverse range of audiences.  

Her approach is adaptable and exploratory, encouraging participants and audiences to engage with her work through craft, play, and digital tools.
