Important notices

Internet issues ongoing across some Inspire sites

The NCC internet is currently unavailable – this is affecting all sites (except High Pavement and Newark Buttermarket) including libraries and young peoples centres.

Public PCs, Print and Kiosks will work at sites where the Public PCs have been replaced with Windows 11 (See here for full list: Computers in Libraries | Inspire - Culture, Learning, Libraries).

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Ask Inspire phone line - Monday 27 October

We are currently experiencing disruption to our Ask Inspire phone line, and therefore cannot take calls at the moment. We apologise for this and hope to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

In the meantime, you can contact the Ask Inspire team via email at ask@inspireculture.org.uk

Limited Space in Children's Area at Eastwood Library

Due to a faulty fire exit, we have had to make some temporary adjustments in the children’s area to maintain our high standards of Health & Safety. As a result, space in this area is limited so we do ask that, if possible, people attending Rattle, Rhyme & Roll and Lullaby Bank could attend without buggies.

If you do bring them, we may have to park them in another area of the library, so we advise not leaving any valuables on it.

We apologise for any inconvenience
