Inspire Poetry Festival 24: Five Leaves New Poetry Launch: Julie Gardner and Julie Burke
Please join us for the launch of the ninth and tenth pamphlets in the Five Leaves New Poetry series.

The Reading and Literacy Festival is a day of showcasing the wide ranging
reading and learning opportunities we have at Eastwood Library and in the
local community. We are hoping to have stalls showcasing:
• Local reading groups
• Local writing groups
• Inspire Learning courses
• The Inspire 'I am a Reader' project and exhibition
• Our Community Makers volunteer opportunities
• The Inspire range of reading formats and other resources
• Reading Friends
• Literacy groups
• Local authors
• DH Lawrence Society
• The Book Start Bear
Also on the day there will be some of our usual Thursday activities taking
place:
• The Lullaby Bank - weekly singing and listening, to melodies group for mums
with babies 0-9 months 10am - 11am
• Rattle, Rhyme and Roll - our twice weekly singing and rhyme session for
babies and toddlers 10am - 10.30am
• Stay and Play - our twice weekly play session for babies and toddlers with
lots of toys, activities and books 10.30am - 11am
• Places of Welcome - weekly group where local people can meet and have a
cuppa and a chat with friendly faces! 2pm - 3.30pm

For reasons of fire safety, there is currently no public access to the first floor at Eastwood Library whilst we await the replacement of a fire door.
The meeting room is still accessible for existing bookings.
