Poetry Event: Five Leaves New Poetry Launch - Beeston Library

Mae, by Maria Berry, is a sequence of poems about a Romany family living in a council low-rise block in the late 1980s, telling the story of Mae and her relations as they navigate their troublesome world. Man Car is Ezra James Fiddemore's poetic examination of the complexities and guilt around transitioning from female to male, finding joy in colouring outside the lines.
