Rattle, Rhyme and Roll

Every Wednesday and Friday

10-10:30am

Stories and rhymes for the under 5s in the lovely Children’s library. Just turn up and join in the fun.

Our Rattle, Rhyme and Roll sessions are relaxed, friendly rhyme sessions for babies and toddlers. 

They are a chance for you to have fun, share rhymes and songs with your child, and meet other parents.

Sessions last about 30 minutes and are free.

Writing Group

Alternate Thursdays

2-4pm

For Shakespeare's birthday, Judith Hedley will be taking us through what the immortal bard and his contemporaries were eating and drinking. We will take a look at how food and dining are reflected in his poems and plays and how many food phrases that we still use today were his invention.
