If you have SEND, a disability, a learning difficulty or a health condition, you may be able to get extra support to help you learn, train, travel, attend interviews or move into work.
Support could include reasonable adjustments, accessible information, assistive technology, flexible learning arrangements, or help from a tutor, mentor, advocate, job coach or support worker.

Information about local and national support services
Your Notts Directory provides information about local support for people with SEND, including education, health, preparing for adulthood, work, money and travel.
You can also find information for young people and adults moving towards independence, including routes into work, post-16 education, further education, higher education, housing and community opportunities.
If you live in Nottinghamshire and have a learning disability or autism, Nottinghamshire County Council's i-work team can offer you support to get a job.
The i-work team can:
- look at your skills, interests and qualifications
- find jobs that you might like to do
- explain what will happen with benefits if you get paid work
- give you the opportunity to try out jobs to see if you like them
- carry on giving you support when you find a job to help you stay there.

Find information about Access to Work, a UK government grant scheme to help people get or stay in work if they have a physical or mental health condition, disability, or neurodivergent profile (such as ADHD, autism, or dyslexia).
Grants are for practical support such as equipment, job coaches, travel to work, communication support at interviews and mental health support at work.

The National Careers Service can provide you with job support if you have special educational needs or a disability. Find careers advice about looking for work, staying in work, reasonable adjustments, supported internships and specialist support organisations.
