About Maria Ferguson
Maria Ferguson is an award-winning writer and performer whose work has been widely published and anthologised, including in The Poetry Review, Magma and The Rialto. Her debut poetry collection, Alright, Girl?, was Highly Commended in the Forward Prizes, and her second collection, Swell, was published by Penguin Random House in 2025. She is also an experienced performer and creative writing teacher.
