Join us for a family festival of winter wonders, including simple willow weaving, storytelling and nature-inspired activities.

As part of Kirkby Library's Places to Connect programme, funded by Libraries Connected and Natural England, we invite you to celebrate the world in wintertime.  The shortest day has passed and the New Year has arrived, but there is still time to marvel at nature's chilly transformation, all from the cosy comfort of the library.

  • Drop in to take part in simple willow-weaving with Katrine Scott-Mitchell
  • Join Beccy from Story Trails to hear tales of the winter world throughout the morning
  • Try your hand at a new craft with the Inspire Learning team
  • Enjoy some tasty winter flavours

An event for all ages.  Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.K
