This hour-long documentary, first aired on BBC4 in 2012, traces the life of Salford-born John Cooper Clarke, from his explosion onto the punk poetry scene, through years of addiction and on to his comeback.
Featuring interviews with stars including Bill Bailey, Alex Turner and Steve Coogan, plus JCC performing some of his best-known works, this mini bio-pic will be introduced by Notts poet Andrew Graves, author of Welcome to the Cheap Seats: Silver Screen Portrayals of the British Working Class (Five Leaves), who also makes an appearance in the film.
