What's On from August-November 2026

We’re continuing our 10th birthday year in style, with the biggest What’s On Guide we’ve ever created!

This new What’s On Guide begins with events to fill your summer holidays calendar and will take you right through to the winter months.

Detectives will notice there’s a crime and mystery theme throughout this guide. As a Living Knowledge Network partner, we’re delighted to be hosting a taster of the Agatha Christie: A World of Mystery exhibition opening at The British Library in October. We’ve also got plenty of themed events for adults and children alike. Keep an eye out for the question mark icon for clues!

The National Year of Reading is in full swing. Go All In on what you love and discover the books we love by voting for Inspire’s Favourite Reads.

Plus you'll find the usual range of author events, heritage, live music, events for children and families, activities for under 5s, exhibitions, film screenings and much more!

Browse the guide below, and don't forget to pick up a copy from your local library and Nottinghamshire Archives from X date.

We look forward to welcoming you!
