Community Film Screenings

Welcome to a summer season of Relaxed Film Screenings at your local library.

Our popular Dementia Friendly Film Screenings continue with The Great Escaper starring Michael Caine and the late Glenda Jackson.  Enjoy the musical Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and the charisma of Rock Hudson and Doris Day in Pillow Talk.

We have lots more for families too starting with The Borrowers in July.  We are showing the unstoppable Kung Fu Panda 3 in August as part of our family fun day and the original Hocus Pocus in September.

Following the success of our first Touchscreen: Feature sensory screening in May, we are delighted to bring you a brand-new sensory film experience with an artist-led showing of Wonka. This has been adapted for an adult audience following successful children's events at MAC in Birmingham.

Tickets for all of our Relaxed Screenings, Dementia Friendly or otherwise, cost just £1 per person and can be booked via Eventbrite.

Enjoy listening to music or singing?  Don't miss our Sing With Friends events at Mansfield Library and Sutton in Ashfield Library.  These are free and suitable for all.  Tea, biscuits and chat included.
