First Spin is a hands-on DJ workshop for young people aged 11–18 (up to 25 for young people with a disability) who want to learn how to DJ, develop their skills and have fun with music.

Across six sessions at The Old Library in Mansfield, you’ll learn the basics of DJing, explore different styles of music, practise mixing and beatmatching, and develop your own DJ style. Whether you’re completely new to DJing or already have some experience, there’ll be plenty of opportunities to get hands-on and build your confidence.

The workshops will be delivered by experienced DJs Adrian Rayworth and DJ Lemoneye, who’ll support you throughout the project and help you develop your skills behind the decks.

£15 for full project (£3 per session)
