Heritage Talk: Exploring Old Occupations - Retford Library

Inspire Libraries have a variety of records to help you discover more about your ancestors' working lives. These include trade directories, local newspapers, census returns and more. Join one of our local history librarians as they explore occupation records from the Retford area, giving hints and tips on where to find them and how to interpret them.

This free talk has been organised as part of Heritage Open Days 2026 and will take place on Retford's annual Heritage Day on Saturday 12 September.
