With the guidance of professional storyteller, Ling Peng, you’ll have the chance to explore your creativity in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Discover the magic of storytelling through sound. Using objects, images and instruments, Ling leads a playful, hands-on workshop where stories come to life. Participants will co-create and retell tales, layering music and soundscapes to enhance the narrative. Join Ling Peng for a joyful, creative journey through imagination, rhythm, and the power of shared storytelling.
There’ll be space for you to share your thoughts and stories and to try different types of storytelling.
No previous storytelling experience is necessary, and this is all about trying something new and having a go.

Ling Peng is a storyteller and cultural ambassador who brings stories to life through sound. As a classically trained Erhu musician, she blends traditional Chinese music with storytelling in a unique and captivating way.
Ling has shared her stories and music at venues like Lakeside Arts Nottingham, Cutty Sark London, The Globe London, and the New Art Exchange Nottingham.
