As part of the Inspire Poetry festival 2026 and in celebration of the publication of Gruffalo Granny, we're showing the Gruffalo film accompanied by FREE themed activities.
The Gruffalo (U)
A half hour animated film based on the classic picture book written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler. A magical tale of a mouse who takes a stroll though the woods. Encountering three predators who all wish to eat him-a fox, an owl and a snake-the plucky mouse has to use his wits to survive.
Free activities will be available in the library after this screening.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Doors will open 20 minutes before the screening. We will be sensitive to the audience when it comes to lighting and volume. Access to the auditorium is via stairs or a lift from the ground floor.
