Metronome will play host to this year’s BBC Introducing gig / eNGine Room launch gig on Wednesday 28 July at 7.30pm – and launch Inspire Youth Arts new record & talent development label, eNGine Room, showcasing some of the best new talent from across Nottinghamshire, and featuring acts signed to the label plus special guests.

Partner and host for the evening is BBC’s Dean Jackson, an advocate for under the radar local music and introducing the best of the undiscovered.

The line-up for the evening includes the following artists :

Jack Chapman, who’s debut single ‘Paper Planes’ was released on June 4th, with a second release planned for summer 2021.

Alongside Jack are emerging talents Sam Barker and Margarita, both of whom appeared at Metronome in 2019 plus Sam Adams and Stan Buckroyd, who have previously appeared at the Hockley Hustle. All the eNGine Room artists are recording with some top producers over the next few months, so look out for some exciting new releases.

The line-up is completed by guest artist Betsey from the First Light label, plus the talented urban music ensemble from CRS, who are also releasing a collaboration on eNGine Room in June/July.

The BBC Introducing / eNGine Room launch gig is being organised by Inspire Youth Arts and is part of their annual music, film, dance and drama performances – TOLFest21 – although the rest of the events will take place later in the year, rearranged due to Covid restrictions.

Tickets to the BBC Introducing gig are £4 (with £3 concession tickets available) and can be booked online via  Metronome

eNGine Room is a new not-for-profit artist development and record label, supporting and showcasing some of the best young talent emerging in Nottinghamshire, and is supported by Inspire and ACE.
