These 2 videos celebrate the 200th Anniversary (in 2019) of the Mansfield & Pinxton Railway, the oldest continuously running commercial railway in England.

Mansfield and Pinxton Railway History gives an account of the railway's original construction and route as well as its 200 year history.

Mansfield & Pinxton Railway 200th Anniversary Celebration Diary highlights the events and activities that were organised to celebrate the anniversary.

Videos were uploaded to YouTube last year by Denis Hill, Project Officer of the Mansfield & Pinxton Railway 200th Anniversary Celebration Project. The project was initiated by KDAG and continued in partnership with the Old Mansfield Society, Sutton Heritage Society and Pinxton & South Normanton History Society.
