Join poet Leanne Moden for some free wordy arts activities at Newark Library on Monday 1st June!
Make poems and stories from collage materials – ransom note poems – and use your best drawing skills to create new stories from old ones too.
This activity is free and you can drop-in anytime you like. The workshop is suitable for all ages and abilities. We’d love to see you there!
Leanne Moden is a poet, theatremaker and educator, based in Nottingham. She’s performed all over the UK and Europe, and worked with all kinds of cool places like the National Literacy Trust, Writing East Midlands and the National Justice Museum. Leanne is currently artist in residence at the National Civil War Museum in Newark, where you can find her in the studio on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
