Join us as we bring together a panellist of black-owned small businesses in Nottingham to share their entrepreneurial journeys, successes, advice and their reflections on building the black economy. 

This event is taking place in the Business & IP Centre at Bulwell Riverside Library.

On the day, you can expect to:

• Have a first-hand understanding of the reality of starting, running and sustaining a business.

• Network and make contacts with other business owners.

• Learn, get inspired and motivated from other business owners.

• Tamika Martin, Director of UCreate PR & Events Management Ltd. 
• Sandra Niche, Author of Survivor and Overcoming and founder of Niche Creation Publishing. 
• Lorraine Dube, Director and Consultant of Prestige Compliance. 

Panel Moderated by Cllr Leslie Ayoola

Leslie has spent over 25 years working across the private, public and voluntary sectors and has established a number of SME’s and Social Enterprises. He is the Founder of B-Global, Nottingham’s Black Business Network working with the wider “BAME” Business Community - that seeks to support businesses to grow, thrive and increase productivity in order to contribute to their local economies.
