OneFest Comedy Weekend Saturday Events

OneFest is a week-long arts and culture festival held across Mansfield and Ashfield that has the primary aim of smashing the stigma and segregation learning disabled and autistic people face on a societal level. 

The OneFest line-up for 2022 is rich with high profile professional artists, comedians and creatives, who will bring a variety of entertainment and inspiration, and our accessible community workshops invite you to explore new and spellbinding experiences.

Saturday 2pm Below the Belt Kids Show

“The disability 'Taskmaster'!” A hilarious rip-roaring game show with humour for all ages, where kids join in the games and learn about disability.

A panel of comedians attempt tasks set for them by their host Benny Shakes, raising awareness of disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy and Autism.

Saturday 4pm Jack Carroll – Walk In Progress

Saturday 6pm The Dark Room

YOU AWAKE TO FIND YOURSELF IN…THE DARK ROOM!

“The Dark Room” is the world’s only live-action videogame. And definitely the only live-action videogame to become an actual videogame.

Interactive and insane, this is impro comedy + retro gaming fused into a deranged rock n’ roll game show.

Saturday 8pm Laurence Clark – Kill the Puppies!

Laurence has performed comedy everywhere from the House of Commons to a double-decker bus in Sheffield. Over the last few years, he has started working as a screenwriter too. He won the Triforce UKTV Writerslam and consequently has a pilot sitcom for Dave green lit. 

 This is a compilation of some of Laurence’s best-loved sketches from his critically-acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe shows. What is the most ridiculous charity cause a bloke in a wheelchair can fundraise for on the streets of London? Is it wrong to balance your wife's crutches on your son’s baby walker to make him look like a Dalek? All will be revealed!
