‘Story Snugglers’ giving little ones a warm woolly hug at story time!
The library toys are ready for bed!
Mansfield Central Library Gallery is full of Story Snugglers – each Snuggler is a characterful cape that little ones can wear to stay warm and cosy while enjoying a bedtime book. All have been made with so much love and care; the display is not to be missed!
Inspire: Culture, Learning and Libraries, Mansfield Building Society, Creative Lives and Trussell are supporting this lovely charity challenge.
And our thanks go to Nottinghamshire knitwear designer Jane Withers for inspiring us with her patterns.
After the exhibition the wonderful woollies will be donated to Trussell. We hope they go on to be the spark at the start of a lifelong love of reading.
Thank you to everyone that has picked up needles and hooks in support of this year’s challenge – you are all amazing!
