From the team who, by their own admission are “pretty brilliant”… and who brought you “Spitfire Solo”, “Bond!”, “Your Bard” and “The Six-Sided Man” comes the perfect ghostly experience.

Two of Charles Dickens’ creepy tales – with a comic twist. Tales with a tingle, but also a giggle! Two yarns to chill and charm! A traveller encounters a ghostly chair, and in a deserted Edinburgh carriage works, a tipsy reveller is spirited away by...well...spirits! Like “The Woman in Black” - but funnier, with fewer people!

Audience information for a safe and enjoyable experience

We’re thrilled to be able to welcome you back to The Old Library Theatre and we are keen to make sure that you feel safe and comfortable at all times.

Our number one priority is the health and wellbeing of our audiences, artists and colleagues, so we are asking for your co-operation in following our Covid safety guidelines;

• If you have Covid-19 symptoms, please stay at home;
• The updated guidance from the Government is that you must wear a face covering whilst in our venue (unless you are exempt) both when moving around the theatre and throughout the duration of the performance, except when eating or drinking;
• Please consider taking a COVID lateral flow test within 48 hours of your visit.

and we are taking the following measures to maximise safety during your visit.

• There is a 50% reduced capacity in the theatre auditorium;
• Members of the Old Library staff team test regularly and will be wearing face coverings for their own, and your safety;
• We’re continuing enhanced and frequent cleaning throughout the venue;
• We are providing multiple hand sanitisation points for you to use.
