Meet the Hidden Valley Poets, a new group living in Nottinghamshire’s Hidden Valley, and hear readings from their first anthology, Beyond the Greenwood, inspired by legends, local history, nature and contemporary issues in a relaxed setting at Hucknall Library.
The Hidden Valley area of Nottinghamshire lies between the north of Nottingham reaching to Mansfield, stretching from Hucknall to Ollerton. The Hidden Valley is an area of contrasts - open fields, wildlife and ancient woodlands juxtaposed with remnants of industry - coal pits, disused railways and mills.
Buy a copy of the book on the day for £10 (cash only) or email hiddenvalleypoets@gmail.com.
