ESOL Conversation Cafes and Culture Hubs

Drop in to our friendly, free ESOL Conversation Cafes to meet like-minded people and learn conversational English as a second language!

Inspire Learning offers free ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) courses for adults who want to learn English through structured classroom-style sessions. 

We also run ESOL Conversation Cafes at several of our libraries, where you can come along and learn or practise conversational English in a more informal setting, with free refreshments included!

If you or someone you know is looking to gain confidence speaking English as a second language, our ESOL Conversation Cafes provide laid-back language support as well as a community of friendly people who share the same goal of learning or improving their English speaking skills.

Whether you are new to English or want to get better, this is a great place to learn and talk about life in the UK. 

Drop in every week for refreshments and good company - no booking required.

  • Stapleford Library - Fridays, 10:30am - 11:30am
  • Sutton-in-Ashfield Library - Wednesdays, 2pm - 3pm
  • West Bridgford Library - Culture Hub - Thursdays, 10am - 12pm
