This year, Her Majesty The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service. 

From indoor street parties, to craft activities, to family theatre, and much more, we've got lots happening across Inspire to  help celebrate this momentous occasion. Find out what's happening near you in the table below.

Beeston Library Monday 30 May, 2 - 3pm The Royal Decades Tea Party Reminisce about Beeston in the 1950’s, 60’s 70’s...right up to this Platinum Jubilee year. See photographs from the Beeston archive and bring your own memories of those decades, bring your royal memorabilia too and enjoy the chat, a cup of tea and a biscuit or two. Suitable for adults. Thursday 26 May - Wednesday 8 June Royal Book Character Hunt Find the characters wearing their crown hidden around the Children’s Library, when you’ve found them all pop your entry into our Royal Box to be entered into our prize draw.
Winners announced Thursday 9 June.

Wednesday 4 May - 30 June Platinum Jubilee Exhibition Visit the Retford Library gallery during opening hours and enjoy this visual exhibition, commemorating the coronation and reign of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.
Throughout June Corgi Hunt and colouring and activity sheets. Search the Junior library to find The Queen’s Corgis. Each corgi has its very own item and you will need to write down what that corgi has. Then you may win a small prize! Drop-in during opening hours.
