Your Digital Support Hub at Mansfield Library

Every first Monday of the month, starting 4 November 2019, your Digital Support Hub will be at Mansfield Central Library from 10am - 12pm.

Just drop in on the first floor, no need to book.

Inspire are working with Connected Nottinghamshire to tackle the digital divide in our area. Having the digital skills, knowledge, confidence and ability to use technology can mean better access to information and care, increased convenience and more opportunities for greater control of your own health. However, many of us who could most benefit from digital services are the least likely to be online.

That's why a Digital Support Hub will be available at Mansfield Central Library. We have chosen a community space where people can learn how to use digital devices through informal learning and access guidance from volunteers. The aim is for people to improve their digital skills and confidence so that they can engage with online services at home and out and about.

The support on offer will explain how to:

  • Get online on a touch screen device- including basic and more advanced touch screen controls
  • Download and register for the NHS app
  • Order a repeat prescription and access information on medical conditions
  • Access trusted online health advice and NHS services
  • Search and explore the internet, keep in touch with email, and use public services online.
