Welcome to Carlton Hill Library - a small, welcoming space where everyone can feel at home. Step inside and you’ll find a friendly and helpful member of staff always on hand to assist you.
Our shelves are stocked with a selection of books to suit all interests and ages, from children’s stories to adult fiction, crime and saga. We also offer a selection of local studies resources, perfect for anyone interested in exploring the area’s history and heritage.
But we’re more than just books. Carlton Hill Library offers free-to-use public computers for both children and adults, along with printing, photocopying and scanning facilities and free Wi-Fi for your own devices.
For younger visitors, we host regular Adventures in Music and The Lullaby Bank sessions - perfect for little ones to enjoy songs, stories and fun with their grown-ups. Throughout the school holidays we run drop-in craft sessions.
