Welcome to Mapperley Library!
Whether you’re a long-term user or a new arrival, you’ll be guaranteed a warm welcome at this busy community-focused library right in the middle of Mapperley, at the top of Westdale Lane. With friendly staff who are always ready to help, we offer a range of facilities – books, audiobooks, OS maps, computers, scanning, photocopying and printing. Wi-Fi is free to use too, with seats around the library to relax, read and even enjoy a cup of tea from our tea station.
We have a great selection of books to suit all ages and genres from fiction to crime to children’s books and many more in between. We have an awful lot going on, with regular events including a Reading Café, a Creative Writing Group, a Craft Group, a Chess Club, a very well-attended Thursday morning Storyhullaballoo and a Places of Welcome group.
Whether you’re looking to learn something new, meet friendly faces, or simply enjoy a good chat, our library is the place for you.
