Radcliffe-on-Trent Library

Radcliffe-on-Trent Library

Welcome to Radcliffe-on-Trent Library!

Situated just off the high-street in this cosmopolitan community-centred village, our library prides itself on being a pillar of the community for the past 60 years, and giving a personal service to all our customers, old and new!

Come in and you’ll find a cosy library which takes a great deal of pride in our frequently changing, imaginative wall and book displays for children and adults to inspire your reading! We have a wide range of books for all ages, needs and interests, including audio books, large print, graphic novels, manga and dyslexia friendly titles for adults and children. We support several book clubs in the local area supplying them with collections of reading material. If you’re interested in setting up your own book club you can get in touch.

For young customers we have Rattle Rhyme and Roll sessions twice a month for parents and children (recommended for ages 0-5), permanent tic tac toe and hopscotch grids, along with a variety of toys to play with, a changing programme of themed crafts and fun activities for all school holidays. We always have colouring sheets available for young children. Our Lego club takes place on the last Saturday morning of the month between 10am-12pm. We are a breastfeeding friendly space.

Our upper level is accessed by four small steps or wheelchair lift. Here we have 3 PCs available to the public (where you can access Ancestry and Which!), our fascinating non-fiction, travel and local studies sections, comfy seating, tables for study, newspapers, and our tea and coffee area where you can treat yourself to a very affordable cuppa.

Our public Wifi, photocopying, printing and scanning facilities are available to all.

We look forward to welcoming you to Radcliffe-on-Trent Library!
