The Next Chapter Book Café

An opportunity to meet other book worms interested in talking about books that have been read or could not be finished, sharing their favourite authors/book series.

Refreshments available for small donation. 

This will run on alternate Friday mornings beginning Feb 6

Tuesdays (Term time only)

10am - 10.20am; 10.45am to 11.15am

Beginning Tuesday 3 November, we will be running a new session for babies at 10am – 10.20am (for children under 1 and their grown-ups). Our usual session will follow shortly after the baby group finishes, with parents and babies welcome to move into the main library for a cup of tea and a chat and stay as long as they like!

Due to high demand for the main RRR group, we have now introduced a ticket system - tickets will be issued on a first come, first serve basis from 10.20am on the day. The group will be followed by Stay and Play.

Our Rattle, Rhyme and Roll sessions are relaxed, friendly rhyme sessions for babies and toddlers. 

They are a chance for you to have fun, share rhymes and songs with your child, and meet other parents.

Sessions last about 30 minutes and are free.

An opportunity for babies and toddlers to play and enjoy the library and parents/carers to meet and socialise. 

A selection of toys are put out for children and toddlers to enjoy and it’s a chance to make new friends in a safe and fun environment.
