Welcome to Woodthorpe Library!
You will find us in the heart of Woodthorpe’s community – a small, welcoming space where everyone is welcome. Inside you’ll find friendly and helpful staff always available to assist you. Our shelves are stocked with a selection of books to suit all interests and genres, for customers of all ages. We offer a small selection of local history, amongst non-fiction and fiction for younger and older ages and a selection for Young Adults.
Woodthorpe Library is more than just books, we have a free-to-use public computer available for children and adults with printing, photocopying and scanning facilities and free Wi-Fi for your own devices. We offer study space, refreshments from our Tea Station and a place to just sit and relax.
For younger readers we have a good choice of early reading books, picture and board books, Non-fiction and fiction; something for everyone! Throughout the school holidays we run drop-in-craft sessions.
