UpRising! Funding for SEND music activities

Since November 2023. Youth Music, with funding from Arts Council England have supported MEHEM UpRising!  develop music making activities for children and young people with special education needs and disabilities (SEND) and a CPD offer for music professionals and non specialist teachers from across Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Nottingham City, Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire.

Aims

MEHEM UpRising! will 

• increase region wide collaboration, 
• improve delivery of activity with and for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, 
• strengthen the regions' workforce 
• enhance organisational development
• improve and deliver high quality music-making activities.
