about temporary disruption to your library experience.
Education Library Service (ELS) supports the teaching of the national curriculum, reading for pleasure, and wellbeing in primary, secondary and special school settings by loaning books to schools.
We stock over 300,000 high quality up-to-date resources for all ages and abilities.
Our team of professional librarians select and review all the books purchased by ELS.
We offer schools two book allowance options. These can be used to borrow fiction and non-fiction to support teaching the national curriculum and reading for pleasure.
Agree a total number of books for the appropriate annual fee which can be swapped as often as you wish through the academic year.
The books can be used in your primary or secondary school library, or they can be split between classes to support the curriculum and reading for pleasure.
For example, an allowance of 100 books swapped every half term enables a school to see and use 600 different fresh items during the year.
