Want to go to university but don't have the qualifications you need? Inspire Learning can help!

Our 19+ Access to Higher Education course is for you if you don't have the qualifications you need to get into university, or you've been out of formal education for some time.

You might already have some work experience in a related health care profession, for example a health care assistant, dental assistant, rehabilitation support worker, or with the ambulance service, and you want to progress your career.

Maybe you feel like you missed the opportunity to further your education or you need more flexibility than a traditional study route might offer you.

You can choose to study online, or in person at Beeston Library, in Nottinghamshire. PLUS! This course is completely FREE if you're aged 19-23 and this is your first 'full' level 3 qualification!

If you're over 23 years of age you may be eligible for an Advanced Learner Loan  - this means your course could be free with no loan repayments if you progress to and complete a university course.

Why choose Inspire?

  • No GCSEs needed - we'll help you to work towards Functional Skills in maths and English.

  • Dedicated and tailored tutor support.
  • Consistent tutor feedback.

  • Our links with local universities will provide some learners with a pathway to university studies.

"I'm very pleased to have finished my Access course in Health and Social Care. It's been brilliant! Now I'm more confident to go to university - in fact I just applied for uni and I've been accepted, so I'll be studying Health and Social Care at Nottingham Trent University."
