Whether you want to progress your career with a recognised qualification or are just looking to have fun and pick up a new hobby, Inspire’s adult learning courses are for everyone. There’s a huge range of subjects available from recognised qualifications in Maths, IT, science and English, to local history, languages, music and arts and crafts.
As an Ofsted registered Grade 2 'Good' provider, as well as winner of the 2020 Tes FE Award for Community Learning Provider of the Year, you’ll enjoy a fun, friendly, high-quality learning experience. For those who need more flexibility, there’s online and distance learning courses, designed for you to learn from the comfort of your own home. Depending on your circumstances, many courses are low cost or free if you're in receipt of eligible benefits.
If you're aged 16 or over, unemployed or looking for a career change, you may be eligible for free personalised support with no impact on benefits. We have a team of expert advisors who can help you with job searches, benefits claims, CVs, job applications, interview skills, volunteering, work placement opportunites, and more!
Get help into training and employment.
Boost your skills, CV and job prospects with our Functional Skills courses in maths and English, or our Essential Digital Skills Qualification - these courses are free if you don't already have a qualification.
Our ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) courses are for anyone whose first language is not English to develop reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.
We also have a range of Level 1 and 2 accredited courses that are fully or part funded depending on circumstances through the Adult Education Budget (AEB). These courses are recognised by employers and are for anyone wanting to improve their skills and employability.
