About this course

It's Christmas soon, and why not try a new craft or refresh your old skills. Bobbin Lace is a multiple thread craft – like weaving and macrame, so if you enjoy macrame and want to try something similar, try this short course. Over the course you learn the background of the two stitches used in Bobbin Lace, and how to combine these to make different effects. These sample lace items will be able to be made into Christmas Decorations, to show off your craft skills. Suitable for all – no previous craft experience required.

This course will concentrate on starter level Bobbin Lace, so is suitable for those with no previous knowledge but if you have previous knowledge then the tutor will develop an individual plan that meets your aims to develop your lacemaking skills within this style of Bobbin Lace.

What you will need to bring to the course:

ALL equipment is provided by Tutor for use in Session, but if you have lacemaking equipment please bring it with you.
