About this course

On this course you will learn how to hold a crochet hook and yarn/wool to create a purse or bag. You will learn a variety of crochet stitches and how to sew the sides up to make a small purse/bag/glass case or pencil case. We will learn about the history of Crochet and gain an understanding of the different terminology used for English and American crochet stitches and crochet hook size conversion, US & UK. Whilst working towards creating a small bag of your choice, you will learn how to create different stitches including a single, double, half double, treble and slip stitch. This course is ideal for people who are starting out on their crochet journey – no previous experience is required!
