About this course

On this course you create your own printed fabrics to develop into patchwork. You will gain the confidence to create your own printed fabric from traditional craved blocks from Indian blocks and mainly use English Pattern Piecing (EPP) to assemble your pieces. We also look at how to build patterns with patchwork.

You are required to provide your own substance to print onto this can be fabric such as cotton and sewing kit including sewing threads – additional items will be discussed in session one.

What you will need to bring to the course:

  • Fabric – this can be anything such as old bed linen, something you want to stitch onto
