About this course

Learn to create your own jewellery pieces using a mix of new and upcycled materials. On this course, you’ll learn how to design and make beautiful jewellery, from simple bracelets and earrings to more advanced creations like charm brooches and adjustable necklaces. You’ll explore a variety of tools and techniques in a friendly, beginner-friendly environment where creativity and personal style are encouraged.

This course introduces you to a range of jewellery-making techniques. You’ll learn how to safely use tools such as round-nosed and flat-nosed pliers, identify and handle findings (like clasps, crimp beads, and jump rings), and design and construct well-balanced pieces. Starting with a simple single-strand bracelet, you’ll progress to necklaces, earrings, and more decorative items. You’ll also be encouraged to bring in old or broken jewellery, as you’ll learn how to reuse beads and components to create something completely new.

There is no need for previous experience.
