About this course
You will learn how to plan, prepare and serve a traditional afternoon tea, including scones, finger sandwiches, treats and cakes. This is a practical course that will include food preparation and baking as well as tips on how to present a classic afternoon tea.
On this course, you will explore the history of afternoon tea, learn how to brew the perfect cup, plan a delightful afternoon tea menu, master the art of making finger sandwiches and baking scones, create a variety of sweet treats, present and serve afternoon tea with elegance, and understand how to cost your offerings effectively.

To enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required). As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
