This course introduces the basics of meditation, focusing on external factors that support practice and how to create a calming environment. You’ll learn breathing techniques, explore different meditation styles, and discover the benefits for your well-being. The course also covers the use of mantras, affirmations, colour, and chakras, along with techniques to boost imagination and release tension.
This course provides a practical introduction to meditation, focusing on techniques, tools, and environments that support effective practice. You’ll learn how breathing, visualization, and posture influence meditation, and how to adapt techniques for stress relief, focus, and relaxation.
You’ll explore how to create a calming space using lighting, sound, and comfort, and discover the benefits of mantras, affirmations, colour, and chakra balancing. The course also covers the mental, emotional, and physical benefits of regular meditation.
By the end, you’ll have the skills to confidently integrate meditation into your daily life to enhance mindfulness and well-being.

To enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required). As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
