About this course
Reiki 2 will introduce you to the second level teachings in Japanese eastern Usui reiki. Learning reiki promotes better mental health, boosts confidence with practice and connects with wellbeing life skills to maintain once the course is completed.
Upon completion of this level, you become qualified to practice reiki and set up as self-employed, or volunteer as a reiki practitioner. Alternatively, these qualifications can be used to promote better life skills.
Okuden is traditional Japanese eastern reiki and accessible to all age groups. To enroll onto this course, you MUST have completed reiki level 1 or reiki 1 Shoden. Setting up a holistic business is the natural next stage for those interested in becoming self-employed, or volunteering in the reiki Industry/health and wellbeing industry.
You will extend you current knowledge of reiki learnt at level 1 by starting to work with the symbols and practice drawing and connecting with symbols and mantras numbers 1, 2 and 3 through distance reiki techniques. You will look at meditation practice from both the east and west, and through paired work, complete mudra hand positions and meditation.
You will receive a lineage chart and certificate upon completion of all content from the course.
What will learners achieve by the end of the course?
Memorise symbol no. 1 and repeat mantra No.1
Describe symbol no.2 and identify with mantra no.2 to aid mental health.
Illustrate symbol no.3 and practice with mantra no.3 to promote health and wellbeing.
Compare different methods of using reiki through distance
Assess which meditations help to develop better life skills.
Build confidence in reiki through pair work with different individuals.
Mixing Meditations with Mudras to deepen your meditation experience, Facilitating calm and balance to life.

To enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required). As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
