About this course
In this course, you will strengthen your ability to speak more spontaneously and understand a wider range of spoken and written Spanish. Through engaging topics like travel, media, technology, and social issues, you'll build fluency and confidence. You'll revise and combine different tenses, learn how to give advice and make comparisons, and explore cultural topics from across the Hispanic world to enrich your communication skills.
This course is designed for learners who already feel comfortable using Spanish in everyday situations and want to deepen their understanding and fluency. You’ll work with a mix of grammar structures, including combining past, present, and future tenses, forming comparisons, and using structures to give advice (e.g. deberías, hay que, es mejor que).
Themed vocabulary will cover media, technology, travel, and social issues, helping you engage in more meaningful and relevant conversations. Cultural insights from Spain and Latin America will support discussion and encourage a wider understanding of the Spanish-speaking world. Speaking activities will focus on improving spontaneity and fluency, supported by listening, reading, and writing tasks that reinforce language use in context.
This course is ideal for you if:
You already have a good grasp of present and past tenses and want to become more confident speaking spontaneously.
You’re interested in discussing more complex and topical issues such as technology, culture, and society in Spanish.
